The Optimum Solutions AS/400 Human Resources system is designed to help companies bring the often cumbersome task of HR record keeping and government reporting under complete control. Extensive employee information is available at your fingertips, which aids in protecting a company's most valuable asset -- the people!

A single key stroke from the "Work with Employee" screen in HR allows immediate access to key employee information. Data such as salary history, performance appraisals, attendance history, training skills, job history, insurance/benefits, and wellness records can all be viewed. Several miscellaneous fields, both alpha and numeric, can be defined by the user for maximum productivity in any company.

Responding to government requirements is also made easier with both online access and numerous reporting options for EEO, COBRA, OSHA, workers compensation, and ISO 9600.

Extensive levels of security can be implemented at the menu, program, company, division, and department levels. For instance, employee pay fields can be designated for use only by authorized HR users.

The HR system can be implemented as a stand-alone application or integrated to our Payroll, Time & Attendance and Applicant Tracking modules. The integration provides real-time data updates between HR and Payroll to ensure that both departments and all supervisors are working with the most up-to-date employee data. The HR system is available in both AS/400 GUI (PC graphical user interface) and traditional AS/400 character based ("green screen") versions.
