Headquartered in Clawson, Michigan, OMS has employees with extensive experience in software support, implementation, and education.  This experience has been with clients ranging in size from $10 million to divisions of Fortune 500 companies.

Sales and Marketing Assistant
This is a part-time (15-25 hrs/wk) opening for an entry-level sales and marketing position. There will possibly be an opportunity to become full-time for the right person. Duties:

  • Generate sales leads through mail campaigns and telephone follow-ups.
  • Update corporate websites and other promotional materials.
  • Create case studies and maintain client relationships.
  • Assist Marketing Director with other projects as needed.

Successful candidate will be outgoing, interested in pursuing a sales career, and comfortable communicating with current and potential clients. Enthusiasm, strong writing and speaking skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office are required. Previous sales or telemarketing experience and knowledge of Adobe design software and HTML are favorable.

Consultant
At OMS, a consultant is the primary point of contact with clients. In addition to defining and managing the implementation process, consultants also troubleshoot system problems and work with programmer/analysts to carry out change requests.

This position requires experience working with one or more of the following supply chain management and business processes:

  • Distribution
  • Manufacturing
  • Accounting & Financials
  • Order Fulfillment

Working knowledge of ERP software, strong oral and written communication abilities, and project management skills are also required. Experience in at least one of these industries is a plus:

  • Automotive
  • Food and Beverage
  • Pharmaceuticals/Life Sciences
  • Furniture

Programmer/Analyst
Assisting clients with system changes is the primary responsibility of a programmer/analyst. Programmer/analysts help clients determine requirements before designing and coding system changes. Other responsibilities include documenting and testing the changes made.

This position requires knowledge and experience with Java and/or RPG programming languages as well as proven technical ability. Project management skills and experience working directly with end users is preferred. Knowledge of business processes and ERP software is also favorable.
